About Kalora
Kalora, developed by Beyond, is a residential tower in Dubai Maritime City, Dubai. The G+3P+HC+45+1MECH+R building occupies a waterfront position and is presented as a vertical landmark within the maritime district, providing a residential setting that balances coastal character with connections to the surrounding city.
The design approach prioritizes integration with the maritime context while maintaining urban connectivity, aiming for a residential environment that feels sheltered yet accessible. The project uses a double-layer façade: an inner envelope of high-performance insulated panels combining glazed and opaque surfaces, and an outer layer of bronzed aluminium fins. The contemporary design language and façade strategy define the building’s architectural identity and its relationship to landscape and community.
